This is a Columbia blank in 100% polyester MTR fleece, the thermal retention fleece Columbia uses for its own cold weather layers. It is soft on the inside, holds heat without much weight, and has zippered hand pockets so nothing drops out when you bend down to clip a leash. The cut is a modern women's fit that layers over a long sleeve without pulling, in sizes M through 2XL.

Good for the months either side of winter, when a full coat is too much and a sweater is not enough, and for anyone who ends up outside twice a day whatever the weather is doing.

How does it fit?

It is a regular fit rather than a slim one, but it is not oversized. If you plan to wear it over a thick sweater rather than a long sleeve, take the next size up.

Is a vest actually warm enough?

For a walk, usually yes. Keeping your core warm does most of the work, and the open arms are the point, because you can still move. In deep winter it works better as a mid layer under a shell than on its own.

How do I wash it?

It is polyester fleece, so a cool wash is fine. Skip the dryer and the fabric softener, both of which flatten the pile over time.

Do you ship to Canada?

You have 30 days from delivery to return anything, for any reason, with no explanation needed and no restocking fee. Email support@wagbase.ca with your order number and we will send the return address. On change-of-mind returns the return postage is yours to cover.

If it arrives damaged, defective or wrong, send a photo within 30 days. We replace it or refund it and you ship nothing back.

Cancellations are free any time before the order ships.
